Meet the team

Rahul Nainwal: Rahul is the director of the IVO programme. You won’t see much of him unless you meet him during the assessment days. Rahul is also a returned VSO volunteer from Sierra Leone.

Reema Verma: Reema is a volunteer and programme manager, a volunteer trainer and selector, all rolled into one! Her association with IVO goes back to 2004 when its first batch of volunteers who were sent out from India. She says, “The journey till now has been exciting, challenging and a great learning experience.”

Ranjan Koul: Ranjan is engaged as a consultant for IVO and is the overseas recruitment manager for the Sri Lanka project.

Gagandeep Singh: Gagandeep is volunteer and placement adviser (VPA) with a postgraduate from department of applied psychology from Delhi University.

Ankita Awasthi: Ankita works as the Marketing and Communications Manager for IVO, also pooling in as a volunteer selector.

Monika Rana: Monika wears multiple hats at IVO. She doubles up as an support and administration person ensuring that the volunteer journey from enquiry to departure stage is a smooth one.

Ram Janki: ‘Janki’, as he is popularly called, is the moneyman at IVO. He is responsible everything related to money, this means all the grants and reimbursements that VSO volunteers are entitled to.
